Hi - We have been debating the MNSS Halloween party. I have two girls, ages 5 and 8. Is the party worth the extra cost? Neither of them will last until 11 pm, so is there enough to do in the first 2 hours to justify it? What can you tell me about it?

Thanks for the question Donna! My daughter and I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Hallowe'en Party this past September and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it - it was the highlight of our trip.

Should you decide to go, you and your girls can dress up in costume, which both park guests and the characters do. The party usually starts at 7pm, but you are able to enter the park at 4 pm, which we did. Party goers are given a special bracelet, and guests not wearing a bracelet are ushered out of the park at 7 pm. You will be given a map of the special events and a bag for trick or treating.

There are two fantastic Hallowe'en-themed parades, and an incredible fireworks display. Trick or treating spots are located throughout the park, as are character photo op locations, with many special characters we don't normally get to see. There are also dance parties throughout the night, lead by characters like Stitch and Goofy.

I thought for sure my daughter would be ready to call it a night by 10 pm, but surprisingly she lasted until the park closed. The park is decorated for Hallowe'en, making it a spooktacular night!

    Have a fantastic vacation!
