Hi! Debating between CBR & CSR for late September. Which one will have less impact from construction? Not worried about food or noise. Main pool with water slide is more important. And what room / building to request? Thanks.

    Hi Diana,

The pools at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel are always an amazing amenity, especially during those hot afternoons, so I completely understand why you want to make sure you are able to use them!

Although all construction timelines are subject to change, the construction at Old Port Royale at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is estimated to be finished by the end of the year.  That being said, the Fuentes del Morro Pool (the feature pool with water slides) is still open for guests to use during the construction.  The leisure pools are also open for use!

The construction at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is set to begin in the fall of 2018.  The Lost City of Cibola Pool (the feature pool with a water slide) will be closed for refurbishment during the construction.  The leisure pools will remain open for guests to use.

Because of all of this information, I would say that Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort would be better suited for your needs.  A Preferred Room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will be closest to the Fuentes del Morro Pool, so if proximity to the pool is your top priority, that is what I would choose!

Make sure you also check out some of the other incredible Moderate Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
