Dears moms We are going to Disney next October. It is my little boy's birthday (He is turning five in October 19th) and we heard that he could have a free entrance to the park on his birthday. Is that true?

Hi, Claudia!  I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday other than Walt Disney World!

The free birthday promotion, unfortunately, is no longer taking place.  The promotion to get a free admission ticket on your birthday was only one year long, and the celebration took place in 2009.  Walt Disney World tries to do a different theme each year at the theme parks, and the theme that year was What Will You Celebrate?

While you won't be able to get a free birthday admission for your son, you can still go to Guest Services and get a free birthday button!  He will probably get more Happy Birthday wishes by wearing this button than he knows what to do with!  Also, when making your reservations - both for your room and for any meals you are reserving - have them note that you are celebrating his birthday.  There are sometimes celebration desserts or table decorations that a restaurant might do to make the celebration a little more special!

    Have a great vacation!
