Dear all, I was trying to buy a 1-day ticket to the magic kingdom but on the website it only give me the option of 2-days ticket. Is it possible to buy a 1-day ticket?

Welcome to planDisney, Pedro. I'm glad you found us!

Oh boy! You're planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season?! That's so very exciting! Not only is the resort one of my favorite places on Earth, but it's also one of my favorite places to celebrate the holiday season. The decorations, the festive atmosphere, the treats, and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays make it such a wonderful destination to get into the spirit of the season! Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog leading up to your trip for announcements related to the holiday offerings this year!

At this time, the minimum amount of days that Guests in Europe can purchase ahead of their trip is 2 days. If you would like to purchase a 1-day ticket, you would need to do so once you've arrived in the United States. While you can wait until you arrive at the resort to purchase this ticket, since you're going during a very busy time of the year, I'd highly recommend you purchase it once you land in the United States. When you're here, you will usually have access to the United States website and can likely purchase a 1-day ticket through that site.

Leading up to your trip, I'd keep an eye on the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to get an idea of park availability on the date you'd like to visit. While you will likely be purchasing a date-based ticket and probably won't need a Theme Park Reservation, this calendar can keep you abreast of ticket availability. If you must wait to purchase your ticket until you get to the resort, I'd recommend you purchase your ticket first thing in the morning. While this won't help if tickets are already sold out for that day, if they haven't and there's a possibility they will, the sooner you get your hands on them, the better!

Pedro, if you're like me, you may want to simply put your mind at ease. And to do that, you'd likely have to purchase a 2-day ticket ahead of your trip instead of worrying about availability. There is so much to do around the resort that you will certainly have no problem filling your days (and then some), so if this is an option, it may be the best one!
