Hi Emma!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney as you put the finishing touches on plans for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! January 9, 2024, was an exciting day as several changes happened including the end of theme park reservations for date-based tickets.
When you
purchase tickets through the Walt Disney World Resort website there are a few things worth noting. If you are purchasing a one-day ticket without the park hopper option, you will be asked to select the date you are attending and the park you'll be visiting. You will notice that these tickets still vary in price based on the date and the park you select. If you are purchasing multi-day tickets, you still need to select a "start date" for your vacation, but do not need to select which parks you will be attending on which days. The price of these tickets may vary based on when you are planning to use them.
Emma, whichever tickets you choose to purchase, you'll want to make sure they are linked to your
My Disney Experience account. If you have a
MagicBand or MagicBand+ linked to your profile, these tickets will "automagically" be ready for you to tap right into the park on the day you arrive! Don't have a MagicBand? No problem! You can access your ticket via
Disney MagicMobile Service. With this, you can select a style for your tickets and then save your park tickets to your digital wallet. You can even save multiple passes for any guests who plans you manage. I was able to create and save mobile tickets for myself and my kids that we could easily access during our days in the park!
I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Emma! Be sure to grab a Mickey pretzel for me wherever your journey may lead you - adventure is out there!
Cheers,
Kristi
