Dear Moms Panel. Can you give some good restaurants for summer?

Hi, Haley!  I can't think of a bad restaurant at Walt Disney World, so you may have to write back to me and let me know what type of food you like.  Are you looking to dine inside a theme park or in the resorts?  So many options are available!

I'll give you a quick run down of some favorites.  For a great character meal, we love the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.  Lunch is my favorite meal there, and they go heavy on salads and cool items, which are great in the summer time.  At EPCOT, we especially enjoy Teppan Edo in the summer.  We can choose some light seafood items, cooked right in front of us, but reminiscent of a barbecue at home.  Hollywood Studios is home to the Brown Derby, and I can't think of anything better on a hot summer day than a Cobb Salad, followed by grapefruit cake for dessert.  And when we visit Animal Kingdom, we always enjoy Flame Tree Barbecue under the canopy of cool trees.

When it comes to resorts, another great place for all you care to eat is the Polynesian's popular restaurant, 'Ohana.  Served at your table, you'll find a selection of meat right off the open grill accompanied by some Asian inspired side dishes.  The Wave at the Contemporary focuses on sustainable menu items, and the meals there are very seasonally oriented.

Please write again and let me know if you have preferences for types of food, or if you were looking for more counter service options.  I'd be happy to help you plan your meals!
