    Dear Mom's Panel, is dining plan required for events shows like fantasmic or for any charakter or unique dinner? I have already reserved for the fantasmic but have no dining plan. Thank you for your advice. Greeting from Switzerland

    Hi Khedija!! Wow!! All the way from Switzerland...Very cool!! We are all so thrilled to be able to help guests from here, there, EVERYWHERE!! No, having a Disney dining plan is NOT required to book any of the dining experiences and/or shows/attractions at the Disney theme parks. The dining plan is solely a mean to enjoy the different cuisines offered at the parks while saving the guests almost 30 % off the cost of meals. Truly it's a pre-paid meal program but in no way is required to enjoy all that Disney theme parks offer. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
