Dear Nancy, I have two more questions if you don't mind. 1.do you know if there is amax number of pieces of luggage 2. what is meant with the day bag on the day of embarcation?should i pack clothes and toiletries to change for dinner on the day we sail?

    Hi Daphne!

It is wonderful to hear from you again!  Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like!  I am always happy to assist future cruisers like you!  Disney Cruise Line allows two bags and one carry-on per Guest.  A few weeks before your cruise, you will receive your cruise documentation including luggage tags for each of your bags.  Be sure to place these on your luggage before you arrive at the port or before your flight (if you have purchased Disney Cruise Line ground transfers).  These tags will insure your luggage will arrive outside your stateroom on the afternoon on your embarkation.

Your day bag or carry-on should contain anything you might need the first afternoon of your vacation.  This bag does not need a luggage tag because you will be carrying it onto the ship with you.  I like to bring a bag that is not too big because it has to be carried around until 1:30 when the staterooms will be ready. I usually pack our cruise documents, passports, camera, medication, swimsuits, and sunscreen.  My kids always like to hit the pool deck right after lunch so it is nice to have our suits handy.  You should have your luggage in time for dinner, but the first night is always cruise casual. If you would like a change of clothes and toiletries, you should include those as well.

I hope my answers help with your planning!  Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!

    Have a magical day!

    Nancy
