Dear Moms~What would be the quickest way to get to Hollywood Studios from the Yacht Club Resort? By bus, by boat, walking, or by the Skyliner? We are hoping to get there quickly in the morning for when it first opens, thank you!!

    Kristin,

    Thanks for your question!

So you have two choices to pick from when it comes to the fastest route to get from Disney's Yacht Club Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The first is to walk, the second is to use the Disney Skyliner.

If you are going to walk, the distance is right at about a mile, which on average takes people about 20-25 minutes to cover.

If you are going to take the Disney Skyliner, you have a quick walk to the station by EPCOT before hopping on your gondola. Ride time for that adds up to about 20 minutes as well, though you would have to consider that you have to switch from one Skyliner route to the second when you transfer at the Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort station.

Only you know how fast you might be walking, but from my perspective I would go with the Skyliner, unless I was trying to get there extra early for a Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance boarding group. In that case I would walk, to avoid any unexpected delays. Hopefully this will help you decide between the two.

By the way, the bus will definitely take longer, especially with wait times. The boat ride, while nice and scenic, will take you longer as well.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
