Dear Momspanel, We are planning a vacation to WDW in July 2012 for 5 children and 2 adults we were wanting to stay at All-Star Sports Value Resort but were not sure if it would accomodate us or if it was within our budget. Thank you!

    Hi Jamie,

A party of your size would be welcome to stay at the All Star Sports resort, but you would need to have two rooms. The basic All Star rooms accommodate up to four people, plus one child under the age of three sleeping in a crib. I don't know the ages of your children, but since you have a total of seven people, you would need more than one room.

You are welcome to ask for two connecting rooms. Connecting rooms are joined by an internal door, making it like one larger room. With two connecting rooms, you could sleep up to eight people. Requests such as this are not guaranteed, but Disney does make every possible effort to met guests' needs.

The value level All Star Music and new Art of Animation resorts feature Family Suites, which are two rooms with two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. These rooms sleep up to six guests plus a child under age three in a crib. If your youngest is a baby or toddler, this might work for you.

As far as pricing goes, keep an eye out for discounts. I regularly check the independent website mousesavers.com which lists every Disney discount under the sun. I've also personally had good luck using travel aggregators such as Expedia, Orbitz, and Travelocity. Each time I've used this sources, I've saved more than $10 per night on value room stays.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have more questions.
