Dear Disney panelist, me and my cousin we are going to Mickey Halloween Party. On 22 may, after the purchase, I have to link the tickets on my Disney experience app on both phones? At the park entrance, we have to scan the ticket on the app?

Welcome back to planDisney Enrico, thank you for stopping by with your question! It sounds like you and your cousin are getting ready for a frightfully fun night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall, what a magical way to celebrate the season! Planning ahead and making sure your tickets are linked properly is a great way to ensure a smooth experience, and I’m happy to walk you through how to get everything set up in the My Disney Experience app so you can both enjoy the spooktacular fun without a hitch.

After you purchase your tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party when they go on sale May 22, you'll want to make sure those tickets are properly linked to your My Disney Experience account so they're part of your plans. If your cousin hasn’t created a My Disney Experience account yet, I’d recommend they do so. Once they have an account, you can add them to your Friends & Family list. This connection allows you to manage and share plans across both accounts, even if you’re using different devices.

By linking through the Friends & Family list, one person, like yourself, can take the lead in purchasing and organizing your tickets and plans. Once your cousin accepts the connection request and you’ve assigned them a ticket, they’ll be able to view the Halloween Party ticket in their own app, along with any other linked plans such as dining or Lightning Lane Passes, if applicable. This makes it really easy to stay organized and ensures your cousin has access to the same information.

At the entrance to the event, you’ll each need to scan your party ticket to enter. You can do this in several ways: through the My Disney Experience app using the Disney MagicMobile pass, by scanning MagicBand+, or by using a Key to the World card. The app is a convenient option since it allows you to quickly pull up your ticket on your phone. As long as each person has their ticket linked and accessible, you’re good to go.

Using the app this way offers both structure and flexibility. If your cousin prefers to be more hands off, you can take charge of managing all the plans. But if they want to explore on their own during the party, they’ll still be able to see their ticket and any shared plans on their phone. It’s a great way to stay connected while enjoying the event in the way that works best for each of you.

Enrico, I hope this helps you feel confident as you get everything set for your night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It’s sure to be a spellbinding evening filled with treats, characters, and magical memories. Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and have a frightfully fun time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
