What is the deal if you book your next Disney Cruise while on board? Is it refundable? Can you make changes to dates and accommodations? Thanks

    Ahoy Kathleen!
It is wonderful to hear from you again!  I'm glad you asked this question because it is my favorite cruise tip!  Currently, onboard discounts include a 10% discount for your future sailing, a reduced deposit and a shipboard credit ($100 to $200) depending on the length of your future cruise.  As long as you cancel your upcoming cruise by the final payment date (75 days prior to cruise departure), you will receive a full refund.  You can make date, itinerary, and stateroom changes as often as you like, but you will pay the price offered on the day of your change. If you do make a change, you will still receive the benefits from your onboard booking.  For example, many Guests choose a three-night sailing so the deposit amount is less, but if they change it to a seven-night sailing they will receive the larger shipboard credit even though they booked the shorter cruise first.
I always say go ahead and book that next cruise because of the flexibility of moving the date.  It makes leaving the ship a bit easier knowing you have another sailing in your future.  Also, if you are working with a travel agent, you must move your future cruise to the agency within 30 days to take advantage of any of their offerings.
I hope my answer makes sense, Kathleen!  If I can assist you further, please let me know!
Have a magical day, and thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!
