2013 DDP states this: Special Dining Events with special menus offered at certain Table Service locations are not included. Does this mean (for example) if I make reservations at Chef Mickeys for Thanksgiving I won't be able to use my dining plan credits?

Hi, Glorian!  You will be able to use your dining credits for your holiday meals, so don't worry!  The things not included on the dining plan are special events, like some of the meals offered during the Food and Wine Festival, or special dining events for Tables in Wonderland card holders.  These are events that usually take place in a reserved setting, not during normal dining times in a regular restaurant, and you won't have to worry about booking something by mistake.  You would have to intentionally seek out one of these special events.

I hope this helps with some of the concerns you have!  Enjoy a wonderful time planning your upcoming vacation!
