On DDP 1 DS 11& one DS 9. 9 y/o has children's price. Afraid this might pose a problem for younger DS as he's not going to want limited children's menu each time. ADR's for some buffets-ChefM/Donald's,some fam style, LTT/ GGrill. Can we pay for extra f

You won't have any problems at all at the buffet-style meals. Your nine-year-old will be able to eat the same food in the same quantities as anyone else in the family. He will not be in any way limited to the food he can choose.

For all intents as purposes the situation is the same at the family-style character meals. Let me describe what happened to our family at the Garden Grill earlier this year...

I my 11-year-old daughter, my husband, and I were brought food on a communal tray. My 8-year-old twins were also brought their own communal tray of "kid friendly" food such as mac 'n cheese and chicken strips. However, one the food was on the table, it did not matter at all who ate what. My "adult" daughter and my husband ate some mac 'n cheese from the "kid" tray. Both the twins had meat from the main food tray. Since the family-style character meals are all-you-care-to-eat, when we wanted more of something we just asked and the waiter brought it right out. He didn't care who was eating from which tray at all.

The only time your younger son might have an issue is when a restaurant has a regular menu. Examples of this would be the Sci-Fi Dine-In or Tony's Town Square. At this type of restaurant, your nine-year-old would be required to order from the children's menu. However, if he is still hungry, you could always just order him some more food and pay for it separately. For example, you could use his dining credit for most of his meal, but supplement it will an appetizer purchased out of pocket.
