Hey, Renee, and thanks for bringing us another great question! The
Disney Dining Plan is such a great addition to your vacation plans. Have a sudden grumbly in your tumbly? Stop and grab a snack (I highly recommend a
Dole Whip Float!). Time for lunch and you do not want to leave all of the magic to find something to eat? Just look for the nearest Quick Service dining location. Want to take a break from all of the excitement and sit down for a nice meal with the family? Make a dining reservation at a Table Service location and enjoy that nice air conditioning. You can truly make the magic your way with the Disney Dining Plan.
I recommend that you do go ahead and make a list of your dining plans for each day so you make sure to use all of your meal and snack entitlements by the end of your Disney Resort Hotel stay. You are welcome to use your entitlements how you wish among the members of your party. However, at this time, it is policy that guests may not share their Disney Dining Plan entitlements with other guests not in their party. From personal experience, I know that in the past this could occasionally be accomplished, but the policy currently restricts this. You will be able to pay for her meal by either using your
MagicBand to access your stored payment source or via any other
accepted payment method.
Renee, make sure you complete your
dining reservations before your trip begins. These can be made up to 180 days in advance of your check-in date. There are some popular dining locations that quickly see their reservation inventory taken, so you will want to make them sooner rather than later! Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions.
