On the DDP & making ADR's soon. Noticed that the kids menu's are not very diverse. Would restaurants be willing to make something for the kids that is not on the kids menu? Kids (8 & 6) are adventurous eaters! If so, will this work with DDP? Thanks

    Hi Jennifer,

With Disney Dining Plan, children must order off of the children's menu. However, if you are at a buffet, they are free to choose any item off of the buffet.

Each restaurant offers one dish which is unique to the restaurant and is not "standard" children's food such as chicken nugget or mac and cheese.

If reviewing menus you do not think your children will be satisfied, you can upgrade them to the adult menu. However, you will need to upgrade their park ticket as well. You can contact Disney and simply upgrade your tickets to adults and then the dining plan will be adjusted as well.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
