On DDP and want to eat great food, BUT obviously need CHAR. meals as well! ds 4, ds 1, dd 6. 7 nights worth & have booked 4 character dinners in a row. Is this too many? Are dh and I going to enjoy this food as well? what does the panel have to say?

Hi, Tiffani!  I would love to know which character meals you have booked, so I could give you a good rundown on the food items you might find there and give you my opinion, but overall, you shouldn't have a bad meal at any of them.  Many of them are buffet meals, and you will find a good variety of food available, so there is something for every taste.  The buffets also usually have a children's section of things like pizza, mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets, so the kids should all enjoy the meal, even if they won't eat grown up type foods.

If Cinderella's Royal Table is one of your meals, you make your choices from the menu.  I have to admit, this is not my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World, but you will find a good selection of meals you and your husband will enjoy.

As for whether or not four character meals is too many, that's entirely up to your family.  We usually plan one on each of our trips, maybe two if we're there a week or more.  There are so many dining experiences we don't want to miss that don't involve the characters, but are just as fun!  Check out some information on 'Ohana, 50s Prime Time Cafe, and the Sci-Fi Dine In.

If you want to send me a follow up question, I'd be happy to fill you in on some information about the specific meals you have planned!
