    My DD has wonderful memories of peppermint ice cream at WDW. Last time we couldn't find it, and I'd love to surprise her this trip. Any ideas? We'll certainly have a great time without, but it would be such a fun treat and memory for all of us!

    Hi, Lauren! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. I traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with my daughters last year during the winter holiday season and fondly remember the delicious peppermint ice cream that we found at several dining locations across the Resort. The girls had me checking the menus and Disney Parks Blog every day for updates on where we could find that sweet treat and other holiday offerings. 

    While the peppermint ice cream is normally a seasonal holiday offering, you can find a similar treat at several locations year round. The mint chocolate chip ice cream may be slightly different,  but it also has its own loyal fan base, including my girls! This flavor can usually be found at most ice cream parlors that service hand-scooped ice cream, such as Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in Magic Kingdom Park, L'Artisan des Glaces in Epcot, Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop in Disney Springs, and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop in Disney's Beach Club Resort. Give it a try and see if it may bring back some wonderful memories with your family!
