My DD 6 REALLY wants CRT meal. My plan is MK the 3rd day of our trip. Should I try on the 180 day out from our 1st day to maximize my chances? I want to avoid the crowds of a Monday at MK, but I would rather have CRT. How hard is it really to get a res?

    Rebecca,

Realistically I'd say that Cinderella's Royal Table is a pretty darn coveted reservation.  A couple of things will affect your ability to book.  When is your trip?  And what meal do you want to to have there?

If you're traveling in the off season then your chances are better, obviously.  In a popular season (like Christmas week) that will be an extremely difficult ADR to make.

Breakfast is the most popular meal served and therefore the hardest reservation to get.  If you want to dine there in the morning then you need to really plan ahead.  Not only will you need to call 180 days in advance, you'll need to do so at about 6:57 am EST so you can be one of the first in line.  Then you'll want to be prepared with your dates and times so you can get the cast member to book for you as quickly as possible.  (No joke!  The people who reserve breakfast in the castle are some seriously dedicated folks!)

If you want lunch it is considerably easier.  I called 180 days in advance and was able to select any lunch seating time I wanted.  Dinner is even easier still, but be aware that the characters do not visit your table at dinner.  No matter which meal you want, calling 180 days in advance is definitely a good idea.

I'm a Disney nut (obviously!), but even I do not bother with trying to book breakfast in the castle.  Lunch is great, and it's much more relaxed, which is just our style.  :)

    Good luck!
