DH, DD (4) and I leave for our 1st WDW Vacation in 2 weeks, YIPPEE. I think I have planned most everything (thanks to this Panel) - what am I forgetting?? What do you think is the most overlooked thing when it comes to planning and/or packing? THANKS

I'd be hard pressed to think of something you would forget to pack that you couldn't replace with relative ease at Disney. WDW is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. Chances are, if you've forgotten something, then thousands of other people have forgotten it before you. Right in your hotel gift shop, you're likely to find everything from nail polish remover and sunscreen to baby formula and children's Tylenol. If you have any prescription medications, I'd double check that before you leave. I would also do the at-home double check before you head to the airport. Do I have my: wallet, keys, tickets, driver's license, door locked, mail stopped, etc?If you've got that under control, then once you're at WDW, you'll have everything you need.

As far as planning, I think the one thing people often forget is to build in some down time. Try to have a couple of hours everyday where you can relax and enjoy your resort or take a nap or even people-watch over a leisurely lunch. You can have your meals reserved and your touring plans set, but if you don't have some time to rest and recharge, then you're going to have a less than pleasant vacation. Try to remember that you can't possibly do and see everything there is at WDW, so don't even bother trying. Once you take that weight off your shoulders, you're much freer to enjoy spending quality time with your family at a great family destination.

Hope you have a magical trip!
