My DD5 is on a ketogenic diet and is going to be needing a medical stroller when we go in oct. This is our second time but how do i handle the diet in the world? Also can she use the stroller in line and transfer? she has no endurance

Yes, she can definitely use the stroller in line. I have a cousin who also uses a medical stroller sometimes and we had no problems at all doing so in Disney. When you visit the first park of your vacation, stop in to the Guest Relations office and explain the situation to them. They can provide you with detailed instructions on accommodations, as well as a medical card that you might need to show cast members at the entrance of certain attractions or viewing areas. It only takes a couple of minutes, and it is well worth the time to make your trip flow smoothly.

As for the diet, you need to have this noted on every table service dining reservation that you make. In my experience (with food allergies), the chef usually comes out to the table and talks to you about specific concerns - what you can have, what you can't - and very often is more than happy to create a custom, not-on-the-menu dish just for you! This will be very useful for your daughter, as they will be able to add extra butter, olive oil, cream, etc to what they prepare for her per your instructions.

To be honest, with food allergies it is much easier to dine at table service than quick service, and I suspect the same will be true for your daughter's diet as well. However, it is far from impossible - it just requires more planning to do so. I strongly recommend that you use the Allears.net website to review their dining-menus section. they have detailed offerings for every eatery in the parks, which will be invaluable in helping you plan. You can order things grilled chicken, hot dog or burger without the bun, veggies instead of fries, etc and that will help. You might also consider carrying a fat source with you and adding it to her food when you can't have it specially prepared.

And if nothing else, I know a lady who took Ketocal for her daughter whenever there was a real need, and supplemented it with other foods.

Hope that helps, and best of luck to you!
