DD Bday Oct 28th. Have been to WDW many times Want to surprise her with a B-day trip to DL as she really wants to experience Halloween there, but I've never been to DL. How crowded is Halloween week? Better week before? Really want to go on her bday week

    Hello again,

Thank you for writing a follow up question Dena. It's a Fantasmic day to be planning your next trip to the Disneyland Resort!

The Disneyland Resort is all about celebrating special moments, even if they don't fall on the exact day of the occasion. If you are at the park to celebrate, the Disney Parks wants to join in.

Halloween is a very popular time at the Disneyland Park with the Mickey's Halloween Party throughout the month. You will want to keep checking the website for details on Mickey's Halloween Party, as it is highly popular and is only held on select nights. Usually the first 2 weeks on the weekdays aren't as busy as the last 2 weeks during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Park.  The week of Halloween is the busiest, with the week before being busy as well. That being said, you may want to celebrate your daughter's birthday early if the crowds are what you are trying to avoid.

You can also sprinkle some more pixie dust on the big day by ordering a personalized birthday cake if you're dining at select table service restaurants. Call the Disney cake hotline at (714) 781-3463 to order one, they will need at least 72 hours notice prior to your magical date needed.

I hope you have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah time. If you have any more questions please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you Magic!
