My DD is afraid of the characters, but LOVES the Princesses and Fairies (she needs to see their faces) We tried Chef Mickey's last year and had to leave before we even ate. Can you help me determine which character meals are more likely Princesses? Thx

    Hi Sally,

The characters can be quite intimidating for some children but don't worry as there are 4 restaurants in Walt Disney World that only have face characters, hopefully one of them will be suitable for your daughter!

She can dine with the Princesses at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. The Princesses vary day to day but you can often find Cinderella, Jasmine, Snow White and Belle there. CRT is in the castle and the Princesses are only present during breakfast and lunch, you can see more details HERE. Akershus however has Princesses all during the day, details HERE. I've dined at both and actually prefer Akershus, we found the character interaction was fantastic and the meal was better value for money!

The other 2 options are at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort. At breakfast time you can dine with Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter and at dinner you can find Prince Charming, Cinderella and her family there. You can see further details HERE.

As all the characters at these restaurants can speak I think it makes the meal extra special as you can have a conversation with them, I know one of the reasons my girls love dinner at 1900 Park Fare is because the Step-Sisters are so hilarious!

Once you've decided where you'd like to dine you can book either online via the dining pages of www.disneyworld.com or by calling 407-939-3463.

    Have a great trip,
