Hi there, Christina,
Thanks for sailing by planDisney with your question; we are glad you are here!
It sounds like you are organizing your travel details for your Disney Cruise Line vacation, which is exciting! I love working out the logistics of my travel in advance so I can shift my focus to
all the fun my crew will have once we board the ship.
Christina, you have some time before you are required to provide your flight information. During online check-in, you will have the opportunity to enter your travel details. Online Check-In begins up to 40 days prior to sailing for Pearl
Castaway Club members and Concierge Guests to 30 days prior to sailing for first-time Guests. If you haven't already, I recommend you
call Disney Cruise Line now to add ground transfers to your reservation. Space is limited and may not be available to purchase upon arrival at the airport. When making your airline reservations, keep in mind that Disney Cruise Line has
recommendations about arrival and departure times so that your embarkation and debarkation days will go smoothly.
There is nothing quite like the first moment you spy your Disney Cruise Line ship docked in
Port Canaveral, Christina. Once you arrive at the port, you will go through security and have your
travel documents checked before boarding the ship. One of my favorite moments as you enter the ship's atrium is when a Crew Member announces your arrival to the Crew Members and other Guests. You can be introduced as your family name or if you are celebrating a special occasion, that can be announced, too, so give a little thought to how you want to be welcomed.
I hope this information gets you on your way, Christina. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are thrilled to assist you!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
