    Hello, I am going on DCL April 2013 and I want to book another cruise while on the ship. I'm planning on Dec. for a Christmas season cruise. What do they do different at Christmas time vs. any other time? And do the activities differ from ship to ship?

    Welcome aboard! I am hoping to cruise with Disney at Christmastime too, Mykel! The ships are decorated from stem to stern with Christmas decorations, trees, ornaments, bows, you name it! There are many Christmas-themed activities, characters in Christmas attire and some special merchandise available. Take a look at the Fantasy all decked out in holiday decor!

    If your cruise stops at Castaway Cay, you can experience an island paradise all done up for Christmas. I've seen so many photos of both the ships and Castaway Cay at Christmastime that my family is looking forward to booking a December Disney cruise ourselves, just to experience the ships like never before. I even hear that the magic of Disney can make it snow on Castaway Cay! 

    I'm also glad to hear that you will be booking your Christmastime cruise while on your sailing this spring. You can take advantage of Disney Cruise Line's onboard booking discount that is currently 10% off the cruise, only a 10% deposit required, and a very nice onboard credit for your future cruise. Be sure to visit the Future Cruise desks early on in your sailing this spring, as later in the sailing they will get very crowded with guests anxious to book their next Disney Cruise Line adventure.
