Kelli from CO Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have DCA booked on 4/24 which closes early for a private event. It shows that World of Color will play at 830. Just want to make sure that time is for the public and not the private event.

Hi there, Kelli! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad to see you here and appreciate you bringing your question to us! How exciting that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is coming up so soon! It's good that you're planning ahead and looking at the Entertainment Schedule for the day.

You are correct that Disney California Adventure is hosting a Private Ticketed Event on the night of 4/24, so they will close at 9 p.m. According to the Entertainment Schedule, World of Color - ONE will show at 8:30 p.m. This showing is indeed for the general public and the Park will close soon after the show ends, so you should be able to enjoy the nighttime spectacular without issue!

Have you made special arrangements to see World of Color - ONE? Many think that the best way to see the show is with the World of Color Dessert Party! You get to watch from your own private table while enjoying a plate of treats. If not, then I would recommend either a World of Color Dining Package or trying for a virtual queue at 12 p.m. that day. This will get you a preferred viewing spot for the show. Did you know that this is the first show that incorporates elements from Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars?

I hope that I was able to answer your question, Kelli, and that you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to enjoy the final days of the Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure too! Feel free to visit us at planDisney again anytime.

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
