Ahoy, Stefanie!
I have some wonderful news for you! Each night at dinner, one of the kids' menu options for dessert is a Mickey Premium Ice Cream bar. And, the best news? You DON'T have to be a kid to order one! You might want to be aware that when they are ordered in the Main Dining rooms, they are usually served in a bowl, with chocolate sauce drizzled over the top and Mickey sprinkles on it. I tell you this because I have a picky child who doesn't like chocolate sauce.
Another place you can get this delectable treat is through
room service. I did NOT know this until my third cruise on Disney Cruise Line!!! They are not on the menu, but if you call the very nice people at room service and ask for a "Mickey Bar", they will come to the room, still wrapped, on a cold plate with a cover. It is very fancy! I would also recommend trying the "All Hands on Deck" cheese plate, it is a wonderful snack at any time of the day. Don't forget your singles to tip the delivery people.
As far as a Mickey-shaped pretzel, they are harder to come by. I have been on a couple of Disney Cruise Line vacations where I was able to get one at one of the counters near the pool. But, it is not a standard item that is served. You might have to settle for an extra Mickey bar.
I hope you have a wonderful first cruise on the Disney Dream! Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions before you set sail in LESS than a month!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
