Aloha, Sheila!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney! Sheila, see where the line in the sky meets the sea? It calls me and it will call you too once you visit
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. Sheila, I just returned from Aulani, and few places are as special as when the magic of Disney meets the spirit of Aloha, and it certainly does and this beautiful resort.
Sheila, the days of the week of the
KA WA'A Luau vary depending on the time of year. They can range from a few days of week up to five days a week, depending on how busy the Resort is. Right now, they are running more days of the week, and you can call the Resort's Holoholo Desk to make a reservation. You can also try to make a reservation online through the Aulani site, but in my experience, these dates will often show there is no availability. But if you call the
Holoholo Desk, they may be able to find availability for you that is not available online.
You will have the choice (depending on availability) of regular or Preferred Seating. The Preferred Seating is a bit more expensive, however, it includes a family photo and better seating (closer to the stage). You will also have priority entrance to the event. We did the Preferred Seating and personally, I thought it was worth the price, though there really isn't a bad seat. Our family has been to many luaus, and this is one of our favorites. You'll learn about some Hawaiian traditions and culture, as well as enjoy a feast fit for a Chief!
Sheila, if you have any further questions about your upcoming trip to Aulani, surf back here and see me. What can I say except you're welcome here any time!
A Hui Hou (it means "until we meet again" in Hawaiian),
