Only 10 more days until WDW Holiday! Moms Panel post provided travel wizard & when enter from Downtown Disney to Swan Hotel we got suggested time of 8 minutes by taking bus. When we reversed route states 34 minutes to DD from Swan why difference?

Hi Joseph! I know you're so excited to be in the 10-Day Countdown until your Walt Disney World vacation! The bus that travels from the Swan hotel to Downtown Disney usually stops at several locations before ultimately arriving at Downtown Disney. The last time I took that particular bus, it stopped at the Dolphin, the Boardwalk Resort, Blizzard Beach, and then finally Downtown Disney. When you factor in the 15 minutes I had to wait for the bus, it took me close to an hour to reach Downtown Disney. The ride back to the Swan was quicker since there weren't as many stops, but in my experience, it was longer than 8 minutes. I love the Transportation Wizard at the unofficial site ourlaughingplace.com. It's a great tool to help you find out how to travel around the Walt Disney World Resort, and I've found that the estimated travel times are generally fairly accurate.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
