    181 days until trip #5!! Planning on doing EPCOT for the 1st time with kids (7, 20-months) and thinking of Akershus for breakfast. If we get an ADR for before WS opening, will we be able to walk around before they open? Will there be characters?

    Hi, Amanda!  If you are able to score a dining reservation for Restaurant Akershus for breakfast before the opening of World Showcase, you will find the only thing open is the restaurant.  There are characters at that particular breakfast, but you won't find any the rest of the way around World Showcase.  

    It really is an amazing experience to be able to take photos at the theme park with it virtually to yourselves.  Although there won't be much for the little ones to do, grabbing a few photos with no crowds behind you is fantastic.  

    If you finish your breakfast before Future World opens, you may find that there are Cast Members in position to rope off areas of the park until official park opening.  I always like to take my time and mosey over to Future World at a leisurely pace if I know I'm just going to have to wait a few more minutes anyway.
