6 days until we reach heaven, er, WDW. We are a family of 4, Mom, Dad, Girl 3, Boy 2. Can we ask a cast member to take a picture of us in front of an attaction so that we all can be in a picture. This is our first trip. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR AWESOME HELP!

Definitely. There are PhotoPass photographers stationed at many areas of the parks whose entire job it is to take guests' pictures. You can read more about PhotoPass HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

But if there is no PhotoPass photographer around (or even if there is and you just want pictures on your own camera), you are certainly welcome to ask a nearby cast member to take a photo of your group. I have done this many times in restaurants, the servers will always stop a moment to take a picture of your entire group posing with a character. However, one thing to think about is that the cast members in the park are there because they are doing a job. If they can stop to take your photo, the certainly will, but often they can't leave their post. In this case, you might just ask another guest to take your photo. I have taken dozens of pictures of other guests with their cameras and vice versa; it's a nice way to spread a little pixie dust.
