HI Moms!! 12 days until we leave!! Our last visit was in Aug,2008, we had a terrible time with mosquitos, especially in AK, will there be a need to pack bug spray the first week in March? Or is it too early for those pesky insects? Thanks!! LOVE THIS!!

    Nancy,

I have never had a problem with mosquitos in March, and I doubt you will either. The rainy season in Orlando is June through September, but June and July are the main culprits, when rainfall is double and triple that of most other months. All that rain makes for a positively ideal breeding ground for the little buggers! I would guess that is why you had such problems in August.

But if you find yourself getting nibbled on, just swing by the resort gift stores. They should have smaller bottles that you can pick up to fight back.

    Good luck!

    Have a magical vacation!
