Hi! 8 more days until first trip - yahoo! My husband carries a pocket knife (3") on a normal basis. We use it to cut straws shorter for our toddler, untangle balloon knots, etc. so he wants to bring it to the park. Can't find info - can he bring it in

Your husband should not attempt to bring his Swiss Army knife into the theme parks. If you click HERE, and scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll see that no weapons of any kind are allowed into the parks. More information about suggestions of items that you and shouldn't bring with you can be found on the independent website allearsnet.com. Search there for an article called "What to Tote Around the Park." They specifically mention there that Swiss Army knives will be confiscated.

On a few occasions I have been in the parks and needed something cut. Each time I walked into a gift shop and asked to borrow a pair of scissors for a moment (I tell them why). Most shops have a pair of scissors behind the register that they would let you use for a moment to untangle a balloon or something similar.
