Hi! 23 days until first family trip with grandparents and twin 5-year-olds! On our MK day I have lunch reservations at 1:10pm at Crystal Palace (pooh) as well as "dinner" at Tony's at 3:55 (parade). Which do you recommend for our table meal?

    Hi there Maureen!

Let the countdown begin!  I'm so excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time in just a few days. As a mom of four including a set of 11-year-old twin boys, I recommend The Crystal Palace for a fun Character Dining experience. At this popular dining location, Guests are greeted while they dine by Winnie the Pooh and friends. My family has always found Character Dining to be a great way to get autographs and photos with beloved Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal. Although I have dined at Tony's Town Square Restaurant and enjoyed the overall experience, I would suggest The Crystal Palace based on the ages of your children.

If you are hoping to watch Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade that same day, I suggest finding a spot along the parade route immediately following your lunch for optimal viewing.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. If you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Maureen!

    Bon Appétit,
