Hi, Moms! 11 days until I arrive to Coronado Springs from the UK! My question is: what are the opening times for the swimming pools at our resort? We would love to swim in the evenings after a long park day. Would that be permitted?

    Dear Becky,

Thank you for bringing us your question! You must be super busy planning for your trip! How exciting to hear you will be visiting the renovated Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, featuring now its majestic Grand Destino Tower!

The main pool at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Lost City of Cibola pool, opens at 9:00 and closes at 11:00 pm. This Mayan-ruin-themed pool complex features a 123-foot-long waterslide and the largest hot tub on Walt Disney World Resort property, with room for 22 tribesmen. Seasonal poolside activities, Siesta’s pool bar, a white-sand volleyball court, the Iguana Arcade and the children's pool provide lots of options for guests to partake in the fun.The quiet leisure pools at the Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas open at the same time but close an hour earlier, at 10 pm (hours and lifeguard availability are subject to change). Remember that complimentary towels are provided at all pools so there's no need for you to worry about that.

Consider treating yourself to an exquisite meal at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood at the Gran Destino Tower for tapas, chuletón, seafood, as well as some of the finest Spanish and California wines.

Becky, I hope this answer is useful. Please come back with more and more questions, we love to help!

Wishing you the most pixie-dusted vacation,

    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
