    175 days out from our trip to WDW, I tried calling the other day to get our reservations for dining but was told that they are not accepting reservations past Jan.25th, 09 right now. I would need to call back 'sometime' in October, any insight?

    There is currently a MAJOR upgrade of the Disney dining reservations system going on and this has temporarily changed the booking window for some guests. You can read more about this in the answer to the question HERE. The current estimate for reservations resuming normally is October 24, but I would call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE at the beginning of October to see whether things are on schedule.

    You should also be aware that you CAN make reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's, and Victoria & Alberts NOW. So, if you're planning meals at any of these venues, call back and reserve them as soon as possible.
