2days B4 our 1st trip i found out I was pregnant with our now 1yr old twins. They will be 18 months old for our 2nd their 1st out of the womb. We will also be traveling with a 3 & 6 years old. What should we expect? What are must dos for them?

Hi, Laura!  I would expect you will be exhausted, but you probably are already on the average day with two toddlers to chase after.

The best advice I can give you is to let your children be your guide.  Some kids really have to stick to a shedule, or they will not be happy vacationers.  Other kids are more fly by the seat of their pants type of kids.  I have both.  My oldest could fall asleep anywhere, had no trouble adjusting her schedule to staying up later or getting up earlier, and was pretty content to go with the flow.  My middle daughter could only sleep in a crib, was bothered by loud noises, and hated to have her normal routine disrupted.  Figure out whether it will be better for you to stick with a schedule your little ones know, or if you'll be able to just let the day unfold.

Bring a little more than you think you'll need of everything.  I always had a few extra clothing changes and plenty of diapers.  You can use a service like Garden Grocer to deliver items to your hotel, which can help lighten the load immensely while you travel.

I think the must dos for little ones are the parades and the shows.  The bright colors and the music can be really captivating for younger children, and they sometimes get overlooked with all of the other things to do.  Attractions like It's a Small World, or the Enchanted Tiki Room are also great with toddlers.  They can really ride any attraction without a height restriction, and many kids do great even on things like Haunted Mansion.

    Have an absolutely amazing time!
