16 days! have tickets to MVMCP & ADR for Tony's at 730. Will this take away from the event? Planning on entering MK at 430. First day/First trip for 4yr daughter.

    Crystal,

No, I don't think it will take anything away from your experience. It is true that you are spending some time dining, instead of enjoying the special party that you paid a good amount of money to attend. But since you are entering at 4:30, you are going to get a lot of the party in. Besides, what are you supposed to do, not eat?

While I don't mind just grabbing some counter service food during the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I like having a table service meal the night of the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. To me Halloween is about trick-or-treating, and so that is what I want to spend my time doing. But a large part of my family's Christmas tradition is about Christmas dinner, so a table service when at this party just seems more in theme with what is going on.

Perhaps have some small presents at dinner for everyone (battery-powered wands for parade watching?), then after dinner get back into the park to enjoy all the fun activities.

Definitely let this meal be a part of your wonderful Christmas experience!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
