Have 2 days scheduled for MK. 1st on 3/10 and 2nd on 3/15. Have dinner ressie at Whispering Canyon on 10th at 6:20 and M's BBQ at 6:30 on 15th. Wondering which day to plan to stay for night parade at MK. Have 10 in party w/ 4 boys 2,3,4,7.

    Amy,

Most might assume that the best choice of these two would be to plan on attending the 9pm parade on the night that you have the reservations at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. However I find that this is one of those restaurants where getting seated at the time of your reservation is less likely. I have had some notable waits past my scheduled time there more than once.

On the other hand Mickey's Backyard BBQ reliably ends around 8 pm. So I would say that you would be better off trying to attend the nighttime parade at the Magic Kingdom on the evening of the 15th. But do be sure to beat a quick retreat at meal's end to the boat dock at Fort Wilderness, as the line grows long VERY quickly!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
