25 more days !!! my question is my daughter is 10 years old she wants to go on her first roller coaster which one should she try first ? We will be going to all 4 parks. Thanks for the time. Nicole

For any kids that are a bit nervous about going on the "thriller" attractions, I'd recommend taking them first on Goofy's Barnstormer in the Toontown area of the Magic Kingdom.  It does have some speed and drops, but it's about as gentle of a "thriller" as you can get, and will help you, as a parent, gage their courage while helping them get more comfortable with the idea of going on the other "thrillers."

Assuming all goes well with Goofy, the second roller coaster that I would recommend trying would be Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is the mildest "real" rollercoaster in the parks. It definitely has drops, fast speeds, as well as bumps and turns, but it also has slower spots and is well lit throughout the ride.  This attraction is also in the Magic Kingdom, so it is easy to experience on the same day if your 10-year-old is up for it.

If you are planning to do both of these attractions in order, you might want to consider taking the WDW railroad from Toontown to Frontierland, as it can (not always) save you time, and it's a very nice ride.

    Hope that helps!  ºoº
