It sounds like you already purchased your Walt Disney World theme park tickets and want to make your theme park reservations. When I pulled up the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, I could see reservations open at all four theme parks for the entire month of August. I wonder if the issue might be that you still need to link your tickets to your
My Disney Experience account for that date? If so, I'll include the instructions:
Log in to your My Disney Experience account, and click "My Plans" in the drop-down menu. Under "Plans and Tickets," hover over "Park Tickets" and click "
Link Tickets." In the "ID Number" box, enter the ticket Order Confirmation number (check your email inbox), and make sure all letters are upper case. Click "Next" in the lower right corner and match the ticket to a Guest's name. Click "Done" in the lower right corner. Confirm the ticket is assigned correctly and click on "Finalize Selection."
Once this step is done, you will need to make your
theme park reservations. Using the website while logged in, place your cursor over the My Disney Experience logo on the upper right side of your screen, and click on Disney Park Pass System. Next, click on the blue button that says "Make A Theme Park Reservation" and follow the prompts.
