Hi, i see some days in october marked as speciAl event from 7pm to midnight.. how does that work? Do i have to purchase 2 tickets? Magic kingdom will close at 6? If i dont have the special event thingy i have to leave? I dont understaaand!! Heelp

    Hello, Julieta!

You are probably seeing the dates of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, a specially ticketed event that takes place on select dates through the fall, leading up to Halloween. This is such a fun event, which takes place at the Magic Kingdom. It includes trick or treating for the whole family, special Halloween themed entertainment, and an awesome Halloween parade. There's also a fantastic Halloween fireworks display. I get all excited just talking about it, thinking about what costumes I can convince my family to wear!

You will need special tickets to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. A regular theme park ticket does not get you into the festivities. Guests with party tickets will be given a wristband beginning early in the evening, and once the party begins at 7 PM, guests without the wristband will be directed towards the exit.

Because a limited number of tickets are sold to the party, the lines for attractions tend to be shorter than they are during the day. My family often uses the party as our Magic Kingdom visit, since I always feel like I get so much done and have such a great time.

This is a really popular event, and many of the party dates sell out. If it's something you're interested in doing, definitely order your tickets ahead of time. I hate to see people disappointed at not getting to enjoy the fun.

    Happy planning, Julieta!
