Hi 17 days to go! Q's: when does they gingerbread house go up? How easy is it to take souvenirs on the plane back, mail them or bring an extra bag and check it? hows the plus dining cost broke down, were not sure if its worth it the cost for 3 people? thx!

    Hi Ashley,

You may be close on the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian but it is worth a shot heading over to this beautiful resort! Have a meal or tea if you get a chance.

I usually pack snacks and cereal for my vacation in my luggage. This then becomes the space for my souvenirs. Depending on your airline, there are different fees for checked bags with most charging on the first bag. You can send any souvenir home right away when you purchase it which is a nice option, and you simply ask the cast member to send it home.

There are three dining plans available: quick service, basic and deluxe. I have included a link here to explain the differences in detail. The quick service is good for guests who like to "wing" their day and have freedom to eat when they want. The basic is good for guests who like to experience new restaurants and have a mix of counter and table service. The deluxe is good for guests who like finer dining which requires more dining credits or who simply do not want to worry about paying for their meals during vacation.

    Have a magical trip!
