54 days to go! Can you please tell me if I need to have park hopper if we wanted to go back to our resort for naps? If not, is there a special indication that will let us back in the same park without using another park ticket?

How exciting you only have 54 days until your Walt Disney World vacation, Rachel!  I am happy to tell you that you do not need the park hopper option on your Magic Your Way Ticket in order to go back to your resort for naps. You only need the park hopper option on your Magic Your Way Ticket if you are trying to visit two or more parks in the same day. Guests are free to leave and re-enter the same park on the same day without having the park hopper option. Each time you enter the theme parks, you will have to place your index finger on a keypad at the ticket turnstiles which will do a finger scan. A computer takes a biometric scan of your finger to make sure it matches the scan done the first time your ticket was used. When you re-enter the park, you will be asked to place your finger on the keypad again and also insert your ticket into the ticket turnstile. The ticket turnstile will recognize that you are returning on the same day and will not deduct another day from your Magic Your Way Ticket. I hope this helps! Please feel free to visit me again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Rachel!
    Happy Planning,
