9 days to go! My children have been looking at the menus for the places we are eating at. They like the dessert they see. We are on the dining plan, can they get any dessert or does it have to be the kids meal dessert.

    Hi, Christine!

9 days!? Wow! The excitement must really be building at your house right about now! Before you know it, your family will be right in the middle of all the magic!

With the Disney Dining Plan, children between the ages of 3 and 9 are required to order from the children's menu if available -- this would apply to desserts as well. If there is a dessert your kids prefer that is offered on the regular menu but not the kids menu, then one of the adults could always order that item for the kids to share. Otherwise, you'd have to pay out of pocket for any additional desserts beyond your dining plan meal entitlements.

I hope this helps! Please come visit us again at the Moms Panel with any other last-minute questions before your visit.
