If we only have 2 days for Disney which parks are recommended for ages 2 and 4 yr? What is the best way to see the most in a short amount of time. Also while trying to stay on a budget. Anyway to save on ticket prices?

    Hey Amy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question. How exciting to be taking a two- and four-year-old to Walt Disney World! There is nothing like seeing the magic of Disney through the eyes of a child.

In my opinion, the best parks for young children are the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Both parks feature the larger-than-life attractions kids absolutely love. Magic Kingdom has all the iconic Disney attractions such as Mad Tea Party, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and It's a Small World. Disney's Animal Kingdom has one of my favorite attractions, Kilimanjaro's Safari. It is modeled after an African safari where you get to see zebra, elephants, rhinos, lions and giraffes in their natural habitat.

Some ideas to stay on budget include:

    • Eat at counter services restaurants as opposed to table service restaurants
    • Look for discounts through organizations you might belong to such as AAA, Costco, etc.
    • Undercover Tourist is a reputable ticket vendor that typically has discounted ticket prices.
    • Keep an eye on the Special Offers page for any great discounts.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
