6 days before our 1st Cruise! Hearing different things about dinner attire, can you advise what it is? Do we have a formal night? Disney Magic March 2nd Thank You

Welcome aboard, Dianna! You're in the homestretch! It's only a couple of days now until you set sail, and your whole family must be so excited! I bet your suitcases are out and you've already begun packing!

Your 4-night Disney Magic cruise will include both Cruise Casual nights and an Optional Dress Up Night. Though schedules are always subject to change, most likely you can expect the following:

    Night 1: Cruise Casual
    Night 2: Optional Dress Up
Night 3: Cruise Casual (Pirate Night)
    Night 4: Cruise Casual

Cruise Casual includes khakis, dressy shorts, polos and that sort of thing for the men and boys and nice skirts or casual dresses or nice pants for the women.

If you don't know about Pirate Night, read up on this exciting night on Disney Cruise Line's website. Be sure to pack some pirate costumes or accessories for everyone, or you can certainly purchase them onboard. It's a really fun night to wear your swashbuckling best and join in on the fun!

Disney's shorter cruises, like this four-night don't have the Formal Night and Semi-Formal Nights that you'd find on the longer sailings. There is an Optional Dress Up Night, so if you want to pack some dressier outfits, go for it. That would be the night to wear them. Even Mickey and his crew put on their fanciest clothes that night. It sure makes for a fun photo with Mickey in his tuxedo!

Have a wonderful sailing, Dianna! Enjoy every moment!
