11 days and counting til arrival....last minute question. Are there lockers at any of the attractions to hold items such as cameras and bags? I am worried about losing items or ruining a camera (like on water rides) if i can't secure them somewhere. THX

    Toni,

No there are no lockers located next to attractions, typically. And don't rely on ride-based holding areas if something is particularly valuable. For example the compartments on Kali River Rapids don't really keep your gear much dryer than you, so valuable electronic equipment can get ruined.

What we do is keep any convenience electronics (cell phones, for instance) safe by taking zip loc bags with us. We keep the phones on us on rides, within secure pockets where they won't slip out when a roller coaster is flipping us over. And the zip locks are for any wet rides we may try out.

The rest of the items, like her larger SLR camera, we keep in a locker at the front of the park. We get it out for major photos, then leave it there safely until departure time.

Also know this. If you rent a locker in one park, then leave the park, keep the return receipt. For the rest of the day you can rent at other parks for free with that receipt. You will still have to put the $2 deposit down, but you get that back. So for a park hopper the first rental is all you need.

Write me back if you need to know more or have other questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
