12 more days & counting!!!! Just curious if the love bugs are out now? I'm really hoping they are gone when we come!

    Hi there Christina!

I know you must be super excited that your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner!  This is a great question! My family just got off the Disney Dream on Sunday morning and actually stopped in Orlando for a few hours before heading home. There were no lovebugs at that time in Orlando; however, once we crossed into Georgia they were everywhere. I live in Georgia and can attest that the lovebugs are presently out in full force. Although they are not known to be dangerous, the pesky lovebugs are definitely a nuisance. If you will be driving to Walt Disney World and encounter any love bugs along the way, you may want to consider finding a car wash off-property to prevent the lovebugs from damaging the finish on your vehicle. In the past, I have found that the love bugs are usually here for a few weeks. I wish I had better news for you. Sending pixie dust your way that those pesky lovebugs are "long gone" by the time you arrive to the "Happiest Place on Earth." Best wishes for a magical trip, Christina!

    Happy Travels,
