Hi Sharon!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just returned from a stay at
Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, and you are in for a treat! My favorite thing about the Resort is the location. It's a five-minute walk to
Epcot’s International Gateway. Ten minutes in the other direction and we are following Stormtroopers into
Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
There are so many
benefits while staying at a
Disney Vacation Club property, but one of my favorites is the full kitchens that are in all of the Deluxe Villas except for the Studios (where you get a delightful kitchenette!). The kitchens are stocked with all of the essentials that you need to create a home-away-from-home, including a 12 cup drip-style coffee maker that comes with a complimentary bag of Joffrey’s Coffee. There is also creamer and sugar stocked on arrival. It depends on how many cups you are brewing a day, but standardly an 8 oz. bag should make about 40 cups of coffee. Mousekeeping will happily replenish the coffee as well as cream and sugar at any time. Feel free to bring your favorite brew too!
Sharon, I hope your visit is going to coincide with the debut of the new Disney Skyliner! One of the hubs is a short walk away from you at Epcot’s International Gateway.
Disney Parks Blog gave us a recent
preview, and I think they are going to be my new favorite mode of Disney transport!
If you have any other questions, please swing back on by. In the meantime, chEARs to planning a fabulous vacation!
